“Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” John 6:35 

Multiple times throughout scripture, Jesus describes Himself as the bread of life. This description reveals the reality that He is the only one who can fully satisfy our souls. We try to fill ourselves with many things throughout our lifetime, but in Him alone, all that we need is found. 

Those who are willing to come to Jesus with a longing to be filled will never leave empty. When He fills, He fills to overflowing. Not only does He provide in a physical sense, but more importantly, in a spiritual sense. 

Get to Jesus. He won’t leave you hungry. He won’t leave you thirsty. He will fill. He will satisfy your deepest longing to be known and loved.
